When a high-profile investigation goes wrong, FBI Agent Kyle Dawson is transferred back home where he is forced to confront his demons…and the only woman he ever loved. Three years ago, Kyle and Abby Morrow shared a wild, passionate summer—then Abby broke his heart.

Now she needs his help...

Kyle never stopped loving Abby. So when Abby uncovers evidence of a human-trafficking ring, leading to her sister's kidnapping, he swears he’ll stop at nothing to bring her sister home and keep Abby safe. Caught in a lethal game of cat and mouse and blindsided by their own explosive desires, they must set aside the past before it’s too late.

A few nights ago, I was discussing some authors with a friend of mine when Kate SeRine came up. Remembering that I had an ARC of Stop at Nothing that I had not read yet and since I've been in a romantic suspense mood lately, I decided to pick it up. I guess you could say that stars aligned because I loved this book. I'm a big romantic suspense fan. Whether it is heavier on the suspense or on the romance, I tend to love the vast majority of them. Stop at Nothing is definitely heavier on the romance. From the moment Kyle and Abby reunited their chemistry ignited as if no time has passed since they were last together. I had a blast watching them grow closer as they worked through their problems while trying to piece together evidence of the human-trafficking ring. As for the suspense, it built up slowly as the book progressed. While Stop at Nothing wasn't action packed, there were no dull or slow moving moments. Everything had a purpose and furthered the plot along. This book was my introduction to the author's writing style. I'm a rebel and I totally skipped the first novella in the Serve & Protect series, but I do plan on picking it up before the next book comes out. Kate's writing style was fun and eloquent. I loved how she wrote both the romance and suspense equally. One did not overshadow the other. I am so glad that I had the opening to this book up. In a way I wish I had read it sooner, but on the other hand, I'm glad that now I don't have to wait as long for the next book.
