Another charming Melissa Foster romance... You know what that means. Yep! Full on zombie mode the following morning. There is something about Melissa's books that suck me in from the very first word and leave me wanting more when I'm done. The moment I finish, I usually go straight to Goodreads and look up the release date for the next book because I just don't want to leave this world. Getting to meet new characters and catching up with old friends... Falling in love all over again... Reading her books are a wonderful way to spend time when I should be sleeping. What I loved the most about Flirting with Love is that the romance between Ross Braden and Elisabeth Nash felt as if it was their first love. And it many ways, it was. Ross has been in relationships before, but he's always been careful to not date anyone from his town. Its not until he meets Elisabeth that he finally feels the urge to settle down like his brothers have done. Elisabeth wants to fall in love. She wants the happily ever after and she finally finds that with Ross. Elisabeth has dreams to move to Trusty and become the successful woman like her aunt once was. When her dreams start to slip away, it is Ross and his family that rally behind her. The trust and the sincerity between Ross and Elisabeth brought out a very innocent romance between two characters that desperately needed it. Two of my favorite scenes were simple and adorable moments, both involving Elisabeth's name. Just taking the moment to give her a nickname makes Elisabeth swoon. And I was right there with her... I must say, though. As sweet and romantic Ross and Elisabeth may have been out of the bedroom, the two still rocked the sheets in the bedroom!
There are so many beautiful Melissa Foster books that I'm starting to wonder if I need to create a family tree to keep track of all these hunky men and strong women. *grin*
