Perfect for readers of Abbi Glines, Seduction returns to the Devil’s Den, a Texas strip club where hearts can’t hide when the chemistry is right.

The night Marisela Gonzalez rides up to the Devil’s Den on her motorcycle, running from trouble and looking for her sister, she finds more than a place to hide out and work her red-hot body. She meets a guy brave enough to stand by a tough, terrified nineteen-year-old girl who’s been in the wrong place with the wrong jerk one too many times. And he’s ready to show Marisela how a real man treats the woman he desires.

An ex-cop taking over as the club’s head of security, Craig Hanson can handle anything—except the urgent need he suddenly feels to hold Marisela tight. Commitment has never been his thing, but all that changes when Craig finds something too real to deny between them. Sensual and vulnerable, Marisela’s got a scary past. And when it comes knocking, Craig goes all in to protect her—because seduction is the ultimate game changer.

Violetta Rand is quickly becoming a go-to author for when I'm in the mood for an intense new adult romance. I enjoyed the first book in her Devil's Den series, Surrender, but when it came time for me to read the second book, Seduction, I absolutely devoured it. Much like my review for Surrender, I think it would be easier for me to divide my review for Seduction using bullet points. Ready?

  • Characters - I love Violetta's characters! They tend to be incredibly strong with a hint of a troubled past. And I have to say, Craig and Marisela did not disappoint. Loved them! Craig is a jaded, self-proclaimed manwhore that can't (and will not) commit. He's wanted Robyn for so long that he's thrown for a loop when he first meets Marisela at the end of the previous book. They look so much alike, that people doubt Craig's attraction towards Marisela as superficial because he can't have the one he really wants. It didn't take long for Craig to prove that he fell (and fell hard) for Marisela. Not only would he kill for her, he would also face his past mistakes to have a better future with her. I'm not sure which he would prefer, though... Marisela, on the other hand, is a strong, independent woman that craves freedom. Freedom from an abusive relationship. Freedom from a suffocating family. Freedom to live happily with Craig. I loved them from the moment they met in the first book (although Craig was sort of an ass for most of Surrender) and I loved that those feelings continued throughout Seduction.
  • Plot - I loved the plot more in this book than I did in the first. The ex-boyfriend aspect of the story was more fleshed out and woven into the romance. We see how it not only pushes Craig and Marisela together, but it also pulls them apart at some points in the book.
  • Sex - Warning: You will need a fan when reading Seduction. Once again, the sex proves how quickly their relationship intensified. Loved it!
  • Dual POV - Thank you for Craig's POV! I loved getting inside his mind. The man has a dirty mind and, damn it, he's proud of it. I could sit inside his POV all day and not get tired of the things he thinks of.

I cannot wait for the next book in the series... It is Macey's turn! This should be fun...
