The Bradens at Peaceful Harbor are the newest addition to the award-winning Braden series and the Love in Bloom family, joining the Snow Sisters, the Bradens, the Remingtons, & Seaside Summers, (Voted BEST BOOK SERIES by Supportive Business Moms, UK).

Fall in love with Nate Braden & Jewel Fisher in Healed by Love.

Nate Braden has loved his best friend’s younger sister Jewel for as long as he can remember, but between their age difference and his respect for Rick, he’s always kept his feelings at bay. Now he’s back in Peaceful Harbor, and Jewel is no longer sixteen years old—but there’s an even bigger obstacle standing in his way. Nate and Rick joined the military together eight years earlier. Nate came home a hero, but Rick didn’t make it out alive.

The Bradens are back! In her newest Braden family line, author Melissa Foster introduces the Bradens from Peaceful Harbor. If you have been here before or have seen my previous reviews, I adore Melissa Foster and will devour anything she writes. When it comes to reviewing a Melissa masterpiece, I use one word that sums up my feelings towards the book. As I read Healed by Love, the first book in the Bradens of Peaceful Harbor (or book 13 in The Bradens series), there was only one word that came to mind - soothing. It was the combination of Melissa's writing and the healing love shared by the two main characters - Nate Braden and Jewel Fisher - that soothed me as I read the book. I adored the loving nature between Nate and Jewel. Nate has been in love with Jewel for as long as he can remember. As his best friend's sister, of course Jewel has always been off limits. Just when Nate builds up the courage to ask for permission to date Jewel, their world is rocked by a tragedy. Laden with guilt, Nate returns home years later determined to stay away from Jewel. That doesn't last long and soon they are thrown into a relationship that'll force them to face their fears in order to mend their hearts. I loved watching Nate and Jewel grow together. Their romance was pure and so very sweet. I loved that they were simply there for each other. Same with their families. As fans of Melissa knows, the Bradens stick together when it matters most, so it'll come as no surprise when they gather around Nate. I can't wait to see the rest of this Braden clan come to life, especially Ty. That man has heart breaker written all over him.

    1. I should be thanking you, Melissa. Your Bradens (and every other one of your books) have kept me up for many hours. Er... I need to rethink this. LOL

Can I put in an official request for Patrick? That boy has angst written all over him.

I have a feeling Ty is going to give my favorite Braden a run for his money...
