Receiving a marriage proposal is supposed to make a women happy, but when Erica Lane receives a beautiful marriage proposal from her perfect boyfriend on the eve of her annual camping trip with her best friend, Jackson Wild, the first thing she does is jump into bed with Jackson.

Jackson’s all too happy to screw the annoyance out of Erica. After all, they’ve always screwed the hell out of each other when they were bored or angry, lonely, or too damn drunk to see straight.

But the marriage proposal changes everything, and their annual camping trip takes unexpected turns. Will a few nights in the wilderness set these friends with benefits free, or lead them on a path of destruction?

Welcome to Melissa Foster week, where I review two Melissa Foster books in one week! Sorry, I couldn't resist. Seriously, though, this Wild series is one sizzling hot book after another, and Jackson was the hottest thus far. Holy Hannah! Friends to lovers is my jam, and I'll devour just about anything that has two friends falling in love, but friends with benefits to lovers is even hotter. I think that is the perfect word to how I would describe Jackson - HOT! Melissa embracing the naughtier side of her characters rocks my Kindle. Her much loved Bradens and other characters have had a bit of a naughtiness, but it was always just under the surface. A secret between the couple, if you will. These Wild brothers are all about the sizzling hot sex. Seeing characters like Jackson and Laney express how free they are with sex between them was fantastic. Watching Jackson struggle with the idea of losing his best friend (and occasional lover) was so sad. It breaks his heart having to push her away, thinking that it is for her own good. Laney is torn between a man she loves and the man that wants to marry her. Not an easy decision. Laney is brokenhearted more than ever as she hopes Jackson could one day settle down with her like his brothers have been with their girlfriends.

I have loved every book in this series so far and Jackson comes in first... So far... I haven't met Cooper yet. He could very well steal the show. I can't wait to find out.
