You fell in love with Blue Ryder and Lizzie Barber in Seaside Summers, now follow their journey to find true love in Seized by Love, the first book in the Ryder series.

Lizzie Barber runs a successful flower shop by day and secretly hosts the Naked Baker webcast at night to help pay for her younger sister’s education. To keep friends and family from finding out about her sexy secret, she’s put her social life on hold until her sister’s education is paid off and she can stop filming the webcast.

Blue Ryder fell hard for Lizzie Barber when he met her a year ago, and he hasn’t been able to get her off his mind since. Everything about the feisty little brunette, from her tight bod to her seductive smile, cuts straight to his heart. Though Lizzie has turned down every invitation he’s extended—Blue is not about to give up trying.

Renovating Lizzie’s kitchen brings Blue further into Lizzie’s life, and the oven is not the only thing heating up. One night and one powerful kiss changes everything. But when Lizzie’s secret is revealed and the safe bubble she’s hidden in shatters, true love may not be enough to put the pieces back together.

Yes, it's that time again... A new Melissa Foster book is like Christmas. As part of my tradition for reviewing her books, I pick a word, or a phrase in this case, that pops into my head as I read the book. The first book in Melissa's newest spin-off series, Seized by Love reintroduces readers to the Ryders. After meeting and getting to know Blue and Lizzie a little bit better, "single-minded determination" would describe them to a tee. When both of them sets their sights on a goal, that's it. They are focused entirely on that goal until it is well within their grasp. The moment Blue met Lizzie at mutual friend's wedding, he knew she was the one. And even though it took a year for him to finally win her over, Blue would tell anyone that it was a year well spent. True, he would have rather spent those 365 days with Lizzie in his arms, but if that was what it took to have her heart forever, then he would have done it again in a heartbeat. Lizzie has had to pay her own way for as long as she can remember. In order to pay for her college tuition, Lizzie brought the Naked Baker to life. Now that her sister is in school, Lizzie is determined to pay her way, even if it means hiding her secret identity for four more years and risk losing Blue in the process. With her hard work and determination, Lizzie was able to make her webcast a huge success and, in turn, is able to have her own flourishing flower business. Once together, their focus was turned on making their budding relationship work and it was such a pleasure watching them fall for each other.

It is no secret that I adore Melissa Foster. Her books are a little slice of romance heaven and I honestly can't get enough of them. If there were more hours in the day, I would probably spend more of them re-reading her previous works. Seized by Love was another Melissa masterpiece. I always love when she starts a new spin-off series because that means I get to fall in love with a whole new set of characters.
