After working hard all day creating his beautiful metal sculptures, sinfully sexy Hunter Lacroux likes to unwind with a hot, sexy babe–or two. But after spending a handful of naughty nights with seductive and beautiful Jana Garner, the woman who challenges everything he does and says, Hunter wants more.

As a dancer, boxer, actress, and waitress, Jana is tough, organized, and as dedicated as she is committed. She has to be to maintain her crazy schedule. But when it comes to men, Jana’s had a string of bad relationships, and there’s only thing she’ll commit to–not committing.

White-hot passion ignites every time Jana and Hunter are together, but the closer Hunter gets, the faster Jana runs. When Hunter lays on the charm, Jana throws out a challenge she’s sure he can’t meet, and Hunter steps up to the plate, forcing her to face her hurtful past or let go of him forever.

Just when I thought I had a grasp on who was my favorite Foster Hero, Melissa goes and introduces me to Hunter Lacroux. Not nice, Melissa. Not nice, but oh so damn good. *wink*

As some of you may know (or if you have searched my past reviews), I have reviewed a handful of Melissa Foster books. And by handful, I mean most of them. And since there are only so many ways I can gush about Melissa's writing, I like to pick a word or phrase that I think best describes the book I'm reviewing. The word that describes Seaside Embrace is in the title - embrace. Embrace change... Embrace love... Embrace each and every opportunity you have. Each of these phrases are themes that appear several times in this book. I fell in love with Hunter from the moment he sets out to prove Jana wrong. He has already felt the change in his relationship with her, but it his eagerness that, at times, terrifies Jana. Change doesn't suit well with Jana and she's a bit perplexed by Hunter's recent actions. As the book goes along and her goals are within her reach, Jana is forced to make a decision - take the leap or shy away in her shell. I loved watching these two characters fall in love, one more quickly than the other. Watching Hunter charm the skirt off Jana was sexy as hell. That man was on a mission! Overall, Seaside Embrace was another masterpiece and, once again, I managed to finish it over night. Seriously... Who needs sleep?
