A new sexy standalone romance by New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster.

Eight months is a long damn time to have the hots for a woman who keeps a guy at arm’s length. But Crystal Moon is no ordinary woman. She’s a sinfully sexy, sass-mouthed badass, and the subject of Bear Whiskey’s midnight fantasies. She’s also one of his closest friends.

Just when Crystal thinks she has her life under control, scorching-hot, possessive, aggressive, and fiercely loyal Bear pushes all her sexual buttons, relentless in his pursuit to make her his.

The more Bear pushes, the hotter their passion burns, unearthing memories for Crystal that are best kept buried. But there’s no stopping the collision of her past and present, catapulting the two lovers down an emotional and sexually charged road that has them questioning all they thought they knew about themselves.

In the years that I've been reading romance books (or even just books in general), I can count the number of heroines I've encountered with the name Crystal on one hand. So imagine my excitement when Melissa Foster, one of my favorite romance authors, not only names her heroine Crystal, but even spells it with a C. Yes! So here I am... Happily devouring Truly, Madly, Whiskey. Loving every moment of it... Until Crystal asks Bear what his real name is... My face when his real name is the same as my dad's. NOOO! Talk about dropping ice cold water on an otherwise sexy-as-sin book. "Do not call him by that name during sex!!" That was my mantra for the last bit of the book. Oh, boy! That was an interesting experience.

Thankfully, his real name was never uttered for the rest of the book...

While I was a bit scarred by the whole name thing, I will say that it ultimately didn't play a part in how much I enjoyed Truly, Madly, Whiskey. Yeah, it did make me pause for a bit while I tried to wipe that scene from my memory, it didn't stop me from devouring the book in my normal Foster time, which tends to be overnight. I fell for Crystal and Bear from the moment they lock eyes on each other in a previous book. For him, there's no question that Crystal was put on the Earth for him and he'll pursue her like a demon until she gives in to their passion. Memories of her past forced Crystal to put up a facade. She pretends to be this bad-ass chick that has multiple one-night stands. To watch Bear peel back the layers until he uncovers the real Crystal made me fall for him even more. Two characters were never more perfect together. They pushed each other's buttons when it was needed. They became the wall for the other to lean on when they needed that extra support. Melissa Foster was able to invoke so many different emotions... I laughed. I cried. I even cringed. I'm never ceased to be amazed with the words that comes from Melissa's books.

...and let us never speak of Bear's real name again. He'll always be Bear to me...
