As I mentioned in my previous Pass the Popcorn, one of my favorite types of horror is anything paranormal, especially those that aren't obvious. Movies with a paranormal build-up will get me every time. Now, if the movie follows a group of friends or family, even better because you wonder if one of them is involved. So the chances of me enjoying this movie were pretty high. Sadly, that was not the case.

In all the cringe moments I suffered while watching Satanic, I will say that it got one thing right. I won't say what happened because it is at the end of the movie, but I will say this... THANK YOU! She was getting on my nerves by that point.
The Verdict: Meh. I'd say skip it. There are better paranormal movies that are worth watching. My only favorite part of the movie was the very last scene. That's saying something.
The Book: While I was watching this movie, I fell in love with Leave the Night On. Such an amazing book! And it'll be featured in a couple more Pass the Popcorn posts because I had to savor the book. Check out my link below to see my review.

Oh no thank you on the movie. Leave the Night On I featured on my blog too and it's right on the top of my tbr pile :)
ReplyDeleteIt was lame. Seriously, the best scene was the very end and only because the character needed to shut up. ;)
