Billionaire security expert Brett Bad has had his eye on his brother’s gorgeous legal assistant, Sophie Roberts, for years. He wants nothing more from her than a single night between the sheets to satisfy his desires. But Sophie is a white-picket-fence girl, and she’s turned him down more times than he cares to count.

Sophie is all about forever kisses and happily ever afters. But she can’t deny her attraction to Brett, as enticed by his bad-boy behavior as she is by his devastating looks and his painful past, which she’d like to help heal.

When Sophie’s friend urges her to throw caution to the wind, Sophie leaves the door to her heart ajar—and Brett charges in. But this Bad boy doesn’t know a thing about romance and has no interest in forever, forcing Sophie to make her toughest decision yet—follow her heart or protect it?

I love that I can always count on Melissa Foster to write an amazing and addictive romance. I needed a bit of a break from a current read and of course I turned to an author I trust, especially one that'll give me ample sexy time, which was exactly what I needed. Brett was the perfect escape. Bad Boy Brett and Sexy Sophie sucked me into their romance from the very first chapter. In fact, I was so engrossed, I had a difficult time picking a word that I felt best described the book (which is how I like to review Melissa's books). After thinking about it, I decided on "love is worth the risk." Throughout the series, the Bad brothers have had to come to terms with the death of their sister. After years of hate that tore the family apart, each brother learned to love again with the help of their significant others. Brett took it the hardest and it took a strong woman like Sophie to show him that he's not only capable of loving someone, but also worthy of their love in return. Plus the sexual tension and chemistry between them was sizzling. With Melissa's fabulous writing style, I was in bad boy heaven!

One of the best things about finishing a Melissa Foster series is that we never really say goodbye to these characters. I look forward to seeing the Bad family pop up again and see what they're up to in future books.
