Sparks fly between a PR rep and an A-list actor who want nothing to do with each other.

Leni Steele might be looking for love, but she’s definitely not looking to be someone’s fake date. Especially not one of the most infuriatingly handsome and annoyingly cocky actors on the planet, Duncan Raz. But when the owner of the PR firm for which she works forces her to walk the red carpet on his arm, she has no choice. Neither wants to be there, much less with each other. They’re like oil and water, and he gets on her last nerve. But after a few tequila shots, that’s not all he gets on. What was supposed to be one date turns into a media frenzy they can’t afford to ignore, and Leni has no other option than to continue the ruse. All the fake kisses, furtive glances, and seductive touches eventually start to feel very real. But Raz didn’t earn his A-list-actor status for nothing. Is he just doing what he does best? Playing a role? Or is Leni the leading lady in Raz’s real-life love story?

Helloooo Romance lovers! I'm back with, you guessed it, another Melissa Foster book. Surprise! :) I keep trying to come back to the blog, but real life just keeps butting itself in the way. Here I am, nursing a hurt leg. I started walking on a treadmill and I think I might have jumped into a bit too hard. Ah well, no treadmill walking for me for at least a couple days. Anyhoo, back to the review.

Today, we're here with Leni and Raz from Wild Island Love. Lemme tell you, wild doesn't even begin to describe these two. After reading countless Melissa Foster romances, you're probably wondering how do I keep from getting bored. It helps that each romance Melissa creates changes just enough to keep things fresh. No two characters are alike. No two romances are alike. Each couple has their own meet-cute, as well as their own spice level. Leni and Raz's spice level is pretty freaking high. Once that spark ignited, watch out. Stand too close and you might get caught up in their flame. There is one thing that irked me just a tad with them. I don't care if your team is getting their butts kicked, you never leave a game early to beat the traffic. You always stay in your seats a bit longer, take your time walking around, and then spend too much money in the team store. Then you leve because everyone else is pretty much gone. To leave early is just blasphemy. :o) I thouroughly enjoyed the time I spent hanging out with Leni and Raz. Their romance was so much fun to read. Their chemistry was amazing. And, of course, Melissa's writing was spectacular as usual. Another Foster favorite.
