Synopsis from Goodreads:
Our journey began in fire...

Gideon Cross came into my life like lightning in the darkness—beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I'd never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily...

Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. And we would become the mirrors that reflected each other's most private wounds... and desires.

My Thoughts:
Before I even opened Bared to You, I knew I was going to enjoy it. However, if you were to read the updates I posted on Goodreads during the numerious attempts I made to read the book, you'd think I wouldn't like it. Not sure why it was so difficult for me to get into it, but I freaking loved it.

Bared to You is the beginning of Gideon and Eva's story. Both characters come from traumatic backgrounds. Eva was raped for years by her step-brother. While we aren't given much of Gideon's past, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with his half brother, Christopher. Yes, we've seen these types of characters before, but there seems to be one big difference. While Gideon is ubber possesive over Eva, he isn't abusive. He's actually quite loving once you get past the tough facade. Same for Eva. In fact, these two characters are a lot alike. When they finally come together, its explosive.

Like I said, I loved Bared to You. The plot does slow down towards the end of the book, but I think it gave me a moment to calm down and recover the amount of drama that was being tossed at me throughout the entire book. Looking forward to reading the 2nd and 3rd book in the series. What lies in the future for Gideon and Eva?
