Episode 6 (June 4, 2013): Back in Samuel’s arms, Jillian finally reveals the traumatic secrets of her and Isla’s past. As much as I hate waiting, I think I'm at the point where I am enjoying the book more because I have to wait. Rather than devouring the book in one or two days (which seems to be my M.O. recently), I'm forced to read a little portion at a time. And as tempted as I am to sneak a peek at the last page, I can't. I am really enjoying the magical "whodunit" aspect of this story!

This last episode threw me for a loop. A wrench was thrown at my theory... Dang it! I even had to go back and re-read some passages to see if I missed something that pointed towards the new twist. I have a *new* theory that I think will hold up. And I loved how Jillian's trip towards the future to Isla helped her and Samuel's quest to find Rosie and Frances in 1937. I was afraid it would be confusing, but it ended up being very clear and well written.

Two episodes left... How will it end?

  1. I am not reading this particular book but am reading two other serials and I both like and hate the waiting between episodes. On one had I want to keep reading but on the other the waiting makes me ponder things more. Lovely review, I am a new Avon Addict and wanted to stop by and say hello. I am following you via bloglovin' and GFC. Looking forward to talking books with you!

    1. Hi fellow Addict! Are you still on cloud 9? I'm still pinching myself. :)

Which serials are you reading? I found another one called Texas Redeemed that looks promising.
