Good girls don't steal.
Good girls don't visit sex shops.
Good girls don't have one-night stands.
Good girls don't visit sex shops.
Good girls don't have one-night stands.
For Katie Conners, being a good girl just isn't worth it anymore. It used to
mean getting the life she always wanted. But that was before she got dumped and
her ex got engaged to his rebound. So, after a bad day and one too many mojitos,
Katie starts making a list of things a girl like her would never do, not in a
million years . . .
As a tattoo artist with a monster motorcycle, Chase Trepasso isn't the kind
of guy you bring home to mom and dad.
And when he finds Katie's list in a bar, he's more than happy to help her
check off a few items. Especially the ones on the naughtier side . . .
Katie's more than tempted by Chase's offer, as long as they keep things
uncomplicated. But as they spend more time together, she may just wind up
breaking the most important rule of all: Good girls don't fall in
love with bad boys.
❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
Its bad enough that good girl Katie has been dumped by her boyfriend, but when he sends her an invitation to his wedding, that is when Katie has had enough of being the good girl everyone expected her to be. Bad boy Chase has had enough of women who pretend to be a good girl, but is really a self-righteous bitch inside. When he stumbles upon Katie and her list, Chase can't resist the opportunity to rile her up a bit and see just how hot under the collar she can get. Armed with her list, Chase and Katie set out to break as many of her rules as possible.
I loved this book! Once I read the synopsis, I knew it was right up my alley. Imagine the squeal when I received an e-ARC copy from Avon. I was so excited, I downloaded it right away and finished it the next day. Codi Gary's Things Good Girls Don't Do is a perfect example of what I love about Avon Books. I've been saying this a lot, but its another fun and sexy book that you can't help but love. The characters are wonderfully written. Both Katie and Chase are henpecked into their perspective roles in the small town. Katie is the good girl that everyone walks over and Chase is the bad boy nobody wants in their town. In a way, both of them are misunderstood and they have had it. Together, they are stand up for themselves and prove to the town that they were wrong. The scenes of Chase and his mom made me cry like a baby. The ending? *swoon* The secondary characters were fabulous. They were supportive, for the most part, of Katie and Chase's relationship. They helped pull Katie and Chase out of their shells and find love. Although Steph did royally piss me off a couple times, she still rocked. I know this isn't an official series, but I can't wait to see who will appear in the next book.
