Marie-frigging-Antoinette!

Ed has a problem. His bed has become a conveyer belt of women. Let's face it, he likes women. Lots and lots of women. When his best friend and his sister team up against him and propose a challenge, he's all in because he knows he'll never fall in love. Enter Millie. She literally falls at his feet and Ed makes it his mission to use her to win the challenge. What Ed doesn't know is that Millie is a fighter. She pushes at Ed just as much as Ed tries to pull a little fun out of her. Mix Ed and Millie together and watch out for the fireworks.

I apologize for the above paragraph. It sounded good while I was writing it, but now it just plain sounds corny. Ah well, back to the book...

I absolutely adored this book. It was funny. It was witty. It was downright sexy. What originally lured me to the book was the title. Then I read the short synopsis. Commitment-phobe? Yes! Burlesque teacher? Yes! Explosive and sizzling attraction? Can I get a hell ya?! The characters are hysterical. Ed reminds me of Hugh Grant circa 1995. You know the guy. Sexy as hell bad boy that you know won't settle down, but you love him anyway. He's an ass towards Millie, but she's no slouch. Millie wasted no time kicking the ass out of Ed. Millie was my kind of girl - a fellow ketchup lover! She's a strong and sassy woman that refuses to give up her independence. When she finally gives into the temptation that is Ed, she does it on her own terms. When she wants some action, she'll seduce him. The two of them rocked together. They forced each other to face their demons head on. They helped the other to heal. I adore characters like that. Broken, but forced to overcome their past. How to Win a Guy in 10 Dates is a super quick, super fun book to read that has characters with deep family issues. The best of both worlds.

I love finding new authors and I look forward to reading more of Jane's books in the future.

About Jane Linfoot
I write fun, flirty fiction, with feisty heroines and a bit of an edge.

Writing romance is cool, because I get to wear pretty shoes instead of wellies. I live in a mountain kingdom in Derbyshire, England, where my family and pets are kind enough to ignore the domestic chaos – happily, we’re in walking distance of a supermarket.

I love hearts, flowers, happy endings, all things vintage & most things french. When I’m not on facebook or twitter, and can’t find an excuse for shopping, I’ll be walking, or gardening. On days when I want to be really scared, I ride a tandem.
