Beautiful but deadly, Rayna Dugan is a force to be reckoned with - even in heels.

But when her plans for the evening suddenly involve defending her life against a criminal empire, Rayna knows she needs backup. Suddenly the choice she made to leave Ty and her old mercenary team in Montana seems like a bad call. She’s been running from her feelings for the tough, rugged man, but Rayna needs Ty now more than ever. Yet when Ty becomes the new target, his help could mean his death…

Ex-cop Ty Whitlock has spent the last six years waiting for his past to catch up with him. When it finally does, he isn’t expecting the woman he loves-the one who walked out on him-to be caught in its web. He knows she’s moved on, but he can’t help but want one more chance with the petite beauty. Ty’s only got one choice: find Rayna and keep her safe. But that’s the easy part. Once he finds her, can he convince her to stay?

Dixie Lee Brown is quickly becoming a new favorite romantic suspense author. While I still haven't read the first book in her Trust No One series, I did read the second book and I loved it. So of course, I was looking forward to picking up the newest book in the series, If You Only Knew. I was hooked from the first page, it was that good. The two main characters were fun to follow. The love between Rayna and Ty was evident from the beginning, but their signals kept getting crossed. When Rayna was ready to go, Ty wanted to step away. When Ty was roaring, Rayna stepped away. It was frustrating at first because I just wanted them to be on the same page, but then you realize that both of them are afraid to love because they both lost someone close to them. Once they were on the same page, they were adorable and sweet. As a background character, I freaking loved Nate. Oh my gosh, if he does not get his own book, I may cry. Things looked grim for him in the beginning, but things looked up in the end. I loved seeing so much of Joe and Walker in this book. I always enjoy seeing old friends again...even if I hadn't been formally introduced to Joe yet. I promise to pick it up soon. :o)

I loved this book. From the characters to Dixie's voice... Everything was fantastic. Dixie knows how to write a good mystery. I thought I knew who the "bad guy" was from page one. Boy did my jaw drop at the end... Didn't see that one coming! If You Only Knew is a fun mixture of sexy time romance and action packed suspense with some funny moments. If You Only Knew is a great book that'll take you on a fun ride.
