Hello 2017 - Part 1: Reading Challenges

It's January 1st and you know what that means... Yep, it's time for new challenges. Can't you just feel the excitement? Okay, I admit that I'm a little nervous about the first part of this year. While I signed up for quite a few reading challenges this year, I decided to take things easy. With the exception for my Goodreads challenge, I signed up for the lowest level on all but one challenge. Hopefully I'll surpass all of them, but no pressure...

2017 Reading Challenges

I started off this year with a challenge that should be pretty easy. I picked romantic suspense because it is a genre that love and want to read more of. Plus there are some fabulous romantic suspense authors that I'm looking forward to reading this year.

I'd like to this this one is fairly self-explanatory, especially after the year I had in 2016. My goal is to read one each month, but I would be ecstatic with anything between 12 to 24 read.

Erotic romance. Enough said. *wink*

This one is an open ended challenge. I'm not aiming to finish this is 2017, but I'm also not putting a number on how many I would like to read. Plus I still haven't picked an author, but I do have a couple in mind. Look forward to that announcement later in January.

This is always a favorite of mine. With so many new authors and fantastic new series out there, I'm super excited to start this challenge.

Contemporary romance. Enough said. *wink*

Now this is the big "challenge yourself" challenge. I don't normally when historical romance, but I want to change that. Plus I'm meeting the lovely Sarah MacLean in March and I think my friend Ezrah will never talk to me again if I don't read at least 2 more of Sarah's books.
