The Garner brothers are poster boys for the ski resort town of Glory Junction, California. But as much as they love outdoor thrills, they know how to create indoor thrills, too . . .

Colt Garner thrives on adrenaline. As Glory Junction’s police chief and the co-owner of Garner Adventure, he knows where to find danger and excitement. Unfortunately his new neighbor, fussy, transplanted city girl Delaney Scott, is anything but a thrill, even if she is as gorgeously curved as a killer ski slope. They have nothing in common but a shared driveway they’re arguing over . . . and a mutual attraction neither of them can fight.

Starting over was not in designer Delaney’s plans. But now that her rotten ex has walked away with the rights to her brand, she needs to reinvent herself, and fast. It’s not easy with bold, brash Colt next door, too handsome for his own good, and, she’s sure, too unreliable for hers. But as small town life throws them together again and again, Colt and Delaney find that simple romance may be the most exhilarating gamble of all . . .

Hooray! New to me author Stacy Finz is one that I have heard of many times in the past and her books have always been intriguing. I was immediately drawn to the synopsis for Need You and so I went for it. There were two elements of Need You that I adored. The first was the characters. From Colt and Delaney to every one of the background characters, I fell for all of them. Colt and Delaney endured very similar events when their previous relationships ended. Try as they might, the attraction between them can't be ignored. They started out on the wrong side of the driveway, but it didn't take long for them to confront their past and look for a new future. As background characters, I could not get enough of Colt's brothers and Delaney's new friends. Of course there is one pairing that I hope will happen (especially of a certain brother gets his head out of his ass).

The second element of Need You that I loved was Stacy's writing style. I loved how she was able to write a fun and quirky romance with a hint of a scandal with the mayor of Glory Junction. Then we have the annual race... Just reading Stacy's words, I wished I was there to watch it all unfold. I would have loved to stand with Delaney and her new friends to cheer for Colt and the other racers. I love books with small town events like this. It adds a bit of craziness to an already fun book. Bring on the next one!
