Hello friends! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the US. If you are international, I hope you are having a lovely day with your family and friends. I had originally planned on posting a Thanksgiving edition of Pass the Popcorn, but I thought that this week's topic from Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer fits the day better.
If you had an author-only Thanksgiving party, who would you invite?
I adore this question. Who wouldn't jump at the chance to host an author-only party? Although I would probably fan-girl for most of it... Watch out!
My invite list...
Rachel Gibson - She was the first ever contemporary romance author that I read. I remember falling in love with her writing style and characters, even though she went on to diss my favorite hockey team. Actually, I'd love to meet her just so I could tell her that.
Candis Terry - Although I've had the absolute pleasure of meeting Candis three times, I'd still love to have her at my party. She would probably have to be the one to snap me out of my fan-girling.
Lisa Jackson - Love her to pieces. Another author I'd love to meet again and prove that I'm not normally the bumbling ding-bat that knocked over her books in 2012.
Linda Howard - One of my all-time favorite romance suspense authors. I would have to find a party box of multi-flavored condoms for her, though. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you have to read Open Season. Still one of my favorite scenes ever.
Tess Gerritsen - I have to admit that one of the reasons why I would invite Tess is just so I can meet her.
