I originally discovered Sabrina York when I had just started my blog and I always thought I just never reviewed a couple of the titles I mention below. Nope! New blogger me reviewed them on Goodreads instead of here, so two of them are appearing on the blog for the first time. Enjoy!

If you're in the mood for fantastic writing with some of the sexiest scenes, then you need to try Sabrina York. These were the titles that I read when I first discovered her. I loved them back in the day and I'm super excited for readers that are able to discover her with this anthology. It is the perfect opportunity to check out Sabrina's writing and maybe add her to your new favorite author list.

While I have read Adam's Obsession, I have yet to review it. Perfect excuse to re-read it! I did review the following novellas back when they were first published.

I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Going into it, I thought it would just be a quick, super steamy book. Oh, it is quick and definitely steamy, but it also had a fun plot. Rarely do novellas leave me with a satisfying closure. Boy, was this book ever satisfying. *wink* I felt that this one had just enough substance for me to fall in love with both Sam and Jackson. Poor Sam. Her ex-husband was an ass. She wanted things, but because he used her, she denies herself the pleasure. Jackson knew that and he uses it to get her to give in to temption. Once she steps foot in his apartment. . . It's on! Both of them are into the kinkier way of life, but it doesn't control them. I loved how caring he was with her. And he let's her take control. Why can't more heros be okay with being tied up? That was hot!

It is in first person, which makes it difficult for me to form a bond with the non-POV character. I didn't have that difficulty at all with Jackson. Yes, I'd love his side of the story, but Sam's POV did a good job describing Jackson. Not to mention it added a layer of mystery to Jackson's already mysterious persona.

I have yet to read a Sabrina York book that I didn't enjoy. She has snapped me out of my on-going reading slump twice now (once with Folly and then with this novella). As usual, I loved the characters. Loved that Jared was so hot for Tess that he had to step back several times or he'd lose his marbles. And that he stood up for her against his sister and the nasty "butler." Tess, on the other hand, I didn't feel a connection with. I think it was because the story was so short. The chemistry between them was hot.

Why 4 stars? I don't like novellas. When I do like a novella (which I loved this one), I want to keep reading. And towards the end of Training Tess, I was disappointed because I wanted more! I'm a greedy reader. MORE! MORE! MORE! :)

Thank you for another enjoyable book, Ms. York. I wish it was longer and I'm crossing my fingers for a sequel.

Sabrina York... Girl, you are such a tease! :) Another author that is on my "must get" list and when a new one comes out, I have to drop what I'm reading and race to my Kindle. Exactly what I did tonight...and didn't stop reading until I finished.

Where do I begin??

There is something to be said about a couple that are comfortable with each other and know that it is ok to push their sex lives into a whole new world of pleasure. Tae knows that Bella's secret desire is to be dominated. She's ashamed of it, but Tae is about to bring her fantasies to life. And holy shit, does he ever! I loved both characters. I rarely connect with both in a novella, but Bella and Tae were so well written and created, that it felt like they were real. They were cute together. I felt bad that Bella had to hide her desires from Tae. She bared her soul to a previous boyfriend and he ran for the hills. Tae, oh my god...the guy is resourceful! While reading, I emailed a friend of mine and told her "Who needs the fancy BDSM toys when you've got a guy that creative?" I'm trying to convert her to Sabrina's books... I figured if I sent her snippets of Tae, she'd take the bait. We'll see...

Back to the book... Another York winner. I loved the banter between Bella and Tae. He was strong when she was soft. Both of their inner thoughts had me cracking up. Especially Bella's when she is trying to figure out what Tae it up to. Fantastic! I'd love to see his reactions to Bella trying to dominate him. I think he'd give in...

I'd love a sequel where Bella gets her own coupon book. *hint* I'm quickly running out of Sabrina's books to read...
