Right after I finished HelenKay's The Experiment I joked to a friend that it was a gateway book. Prior to reading it, I had only experienced her romantic suspense books. And while those books are definitely sexy in their own way, The Experiment showed me a whole 'nother level of HelenKay's writing, one that I have to read again soon. It got me hooked and introduced me to HelenKay's erotic romances.
I friggin' loved The Experiment. It's short, sexy, and was a hell of a fun way to spend a couple hours. I loved the characters and I felt they were well developed for the length of the book. Of course I wanted it to be longer, but I thought the length was perfect since it was my introduction to HelenKay's erotic romances. That ending, though... Why?! Such a tease!
Now that I've experienced HelenKay's erotic romances, I need to read more. I have a feeling I'll be reading her Holton Woods series very soon.
