Alright, why am I torturing myself like this? Why am I not waiting until all eight episodes are out before reading this book? Oh yeah, I'm trying something new ... even if it kills me.

I must admit, I am really loving this book. I was worried that the newest episode wouldn't suck me in because of the wait, but I was a goner by the end of the first chapter. Loved it! I love the world Juliette created. She managed to set an incredibly romantic atmosphere between Jillian and Samuel in the midst of a horrible event that is going to happen to three women. From the surrounding mountains to the falling snow outside. From the sounds of the train and the gentle rocking as it travels down the tracks. From the beautiful interior and how everyone is elegantly dressed. Although lives are in danger, I'd still love to take a trip on this train.

As far as the characters go, I really hope we learn more about Jillian and Samuel's relationship. Why did she leave him? Their feelings for each other is obvious from the heated glances they share. Not to mention that kiss. Wow! There are some new characters in this episode, including the conductor that I don't trust. I don't know how, but I think he's behind the whole time travelling train.

The ending... Warning, it is a cliff-hanger. But hey, in a serial book, it was to be expected. I just hope I can wait until next Tuesday for the 5th episode. The one good thing about serial books is that I can't cheat and skip to the end...
