Twenty-year-old Savannah enjoys a one-time one-night stand because a real relationship would never fit into her busy schedule. Working two jobs and pursuing her degree takes all of her time. Besides, the guys she has dated haven't been much better than the random barfly.
It's a good thing Luke's body is honed by the long hours of carpentry and construction because he carries the weight of his family on his shoulders. School hasn't been an option for him since he dropped out to make the house payments his mother had failed to make.
Luke finds what he's been longing for in a night with Savannah. She's determined to stop with a one-night stand, but he wants more. Neither can deny the perfection of their passionate interludes, but with such imperfect lives, do they have any chance for a future together? Suddenly they're falling in love much too fast and the intensity could tear them apart.

Sometimes you just want to read a book that is fast, fun, and extra sexy.
Too Fast is the story of Savannah and Luke. On the surface, it may not look like they have a lot in common. Savannah is on the fast track in college while Luke works in construction. Dig a bit deeper and you'll find that the two are so much alike, its almost like they were made for each other. Both Savannah and Luke have less than ideal family situations. Savannah's mom lives in her own little world and, for the most part, ignores her daughter. Savannah has to work two jobs just to say afloat and in college. Meanwhile, Luke's mom is manic. She drinks, does drugs, brings home strange men (and women), and spends money they don't have. It is up to Luke to raise his 15 year old sister and pay the bills. What started out as a one night stand quickly leads to a relationship that allows both Luke and Savannah to finally act their age. Their relationship gives them a reprieve from the harsh reality of their lives.
I loved this book. Its short, but it packs quite a punch. The characters (except for 1) were fantastic. I adored all of them and I hope to see more of them in future books. I loved Savannah's friends, except for Aubrey who was a bitch. They were happy when she first had sex with Luke. They were ecstatic when she and Luke started dating. They stood by her when her heart was broken. They were there for her when she needed them most. I adored Luke's sister, but the poor girl is probably traumatized. Keep in mind that Luke and Savannah are twenty years old. They are young and in a happy relationship. There is going to be a lot of sex. A couple of the scenes made me giggle (especially Savannah's fascination with walls). Go girl! For a short novella, the author gave her characters a strong foundation and gave me a chance to get to know them and become attached to them.
Like the title says, it is a fast novella. Its a fun, quick book that'll steam up your Kindle. Can't wait for Sophie's story and hopefully Madison's story.
