The second installment of a sexy, whirlwind romance about a modern-day heroine writing historical novels based on her romantic misadventures with the Bad Boy Billionaire.

Being good hasn't exactly worked out well for Jane Sparks. Her ex-boyfriend dumped her for being too predictable, and her fake fiancé, Duke Austen, is counting on her good-girl image to repair his bad-boy reputation. But everything changes with the publication of the historical romance novel she wrote based on her fauxmance with the Bad Boy Billionaire. Suddenly she's notorious, scandalous, and causing lots of trouble.

Duke Austen always admired Jane's poise and perfectly demure behavior … qualities that seemed to have vanished once she helped him land a big investment deal. But now that his company is on the verge of a 20-billion-dollar IPO, the stakes have never been higher—and Jane has never been more shocking, provocative, or wickedly irresistible. She's not at all the woman he bargained for, yet she's the only one he wants.

Duke is determined to woo his girl gone wild. She's determined to keep him guessing. But Jane is discovering that there's nothing so appealing as a billionaire who's mad, bad, and dangerously seductive …

Jane is in a bit of trouble. The good news is that she decided to self-publish historical romance book she wrote based on her life with Duke. The bad news? Roxanna's office gossip about said book found itself in the ears of the enemy and now it is all over the news. Good for Jane because now she's selling copies faster than she can blink, but bad for Duke because now his "romance" has pushed his new business venture out of the spotlight. What's a Duke to do? Duke knows that to keep his investor happy, he has to step away from Jane and end their fake engagement. Now the bad news is that nobody is happy and by the time both of them decide to go for the grand gesture, it may already be too late.

The Bad Boy Billionaire's Girl Gone Wild is a crazy roller coaster in a short novella. I loved Duke in this one. He's torn. Does he keep his investors happy or does he keep himself happy by staying with Jane? I loved watching him pulled towards Jane whenever they were in the same room. He knows he has to stay away, but damn it, he doesn't want to. I think I loved him the most when he kept interrupting Jane's date and then purposely calls her Janet. Best scene in the story! Jane, on the other hand, irked me a little this time. I really didn't like her sudden transformation into a wild girl. We all know her true feelings towards Duke, but she starts stringing along her former flame, Sam. It wasn't something the real Jane would do and I was glad when she finally admitted to her feelings towards Duke.

I love the spin Maya Rodale has on this series. It's fun to watch as the story line develops in Jane's life and I can't wait to see how it plays out in the next book. I love Maya's writing style and to watch those words come out of Jane's mind is incredible. So excited to pick up the next book, Wallflower Gone Wild, in March.
