TAKEN BY LOVE is the first of six hot, wealthy, and wickedly naughty Braden cousins, and the newest additions to the BRADEN series by New York Times & USA Today bestselling and award-winning author Melissa Foster.

Daisy Honey fled Trusty, Colorado, after years of battling rumors sparked by her gorgeous looks and lust-inducing name. Now a physician on the brink of a promising career, she reluctantly returns home when her father is injured in a farming accident. Daisy expects the small-town girls who hurt her in the past to take cheap shots again—but she’s completely unprepared for a run-in with tall, dark, and wickedly sexy Luke Braden, the only man who has ever stood up for her—and the man she’s never forgotten.

Luke Braden is handsome, wealthy, and the best damn gypsy horse breeder in the Midwest. After a restless youth, he’s finally ready to settle down—only connecting with women is nothing like connecting with horses, and he’s never met a woman worth the energy. After an arrest in a neighboring town, Luke’s past comes back to haunt him, and he realizes that his inability to find love runs deeper than he ever imagined.

A chance encounter sweeps Luke and Daisy into a world of passion. For the first time ever, Luke feels a connection, but Daisy’s life in Trusty is anything but permanent, and Luke can’t manage a future until he puts his past to rest.

Did you hear my squeal of joy when this beautiful book popped onto my Kindle? I seriously thought I was going into a Melissa Foster withdrawal. Melissa continues to amaze me with this new group of siblings, the Bradens. Wait... What? That's right! There's more of them!! These are the Bradens from Trusty, Colorado. I would love to be a fly on the wall during a Braden family reunion. That is a lot of tall, gorgeous men in one room. Yum!

Taken by Love is a beautiful story of love, redemption, and forgiveness. I adored every moment I got to spend with these wonderful characters. Luke is just about the sweetest hunk of man. He's sexy, sweet, caring, and so gentle with animals. He loves his family and Daisy with all his heart. Daisy is an amazingly strong character. I don't think I could have forgiven people for what they did to her in the past, but she manages to put all of her animosity aside to hear them out. She has a heart of gold. Luke and Daisy were adorable together. I loved watching them tease and banter with each other. I loved watching both of them grow into the people they become at the end of the book. And I cannot wait to see how their love plays out in the next five books.

Melissa has the ability to create books and characters that matter. At once glance, they are simply romance books. Once you start reading her books, you realize that her characters are genuine. They are characters you want to get to know in real life. You know that it is okay to fall in love with them because you'll be able to follow their relationship as the series progresses and I know I'm looking forward to seeing what Melissa has up her sleeve for this series.
