When a holiday blizzard brings together a pair of reluctant lovers, the result threatens their reputations … and may cost them their hearts.

Feisty and independent American heiress Violet Howard swears she'll never wed a crusty British aristocrat. Will, the Earl of Merlton, is determined to salvage his family's fortune without succumbing to a marriage of convenience.

But when a snowstorm leaves Violet and Will stranded and alone, their sudden chemistry will challenge good intentions. Seized by a desire that burns through the night, they'll toss reservations aside in favor of the heat found in each other's arms.

Will their passion survive the storm? Will they realize they've found a love to last them through all seasons?

I have a confession to make... I am a bit of a Christmas junkie. When it comes to most things Christmas, I'm there. Christmas movies with love at first sight? Yes! Christmas music that makes me dance like a fool when nobody is looking? Yes! Christmas decorating? Eh, not so much. I'd rather be inside with a cup of hot chocolate (or a frappuchino) and curled up with a Christmas romance book. I started things off a little bit early this year with Sophie Jordan's charming novella, An Heiress For All Seasons. It had everything I love in a good Christmas romance - love, laughter, and snow.

An Heiress For All Seasons unintentionally started a mini Sophie Jordan marathon for me. The sweet little novella sucked me right into Sophie's world and I couldn't leave without diving right into Wild, the third book in her Ivy Chronicles. I'm convinced that Sophie can write anything. An Heiress For All Seasons was absolutely adorable. The Christmas novella was the perfect length with characters that I fell in love with. I adored Violet's tenacity. She has love back home and refuses to succumb to Will's charm. As the Earl of Merlton, Will must marry to save his family. When his mother brings home yet another prospect, Will is ready to run her off. Imagine his surprise (and the surprise of his sister) when he falls for Violet. With determination, Will sets off to woo Violet while she tries to deflect his attentions. I loved the situations Will and Violet found themselves in. I mean, who wouldn't want to be snowbound with a handsome Earl?

After reading An Heiress For All Seasons, I must go back and read the first book in The Debutante Files. The characters from the first book make an appearance in the novella and they make such a cute couple. Once I finish the first book, I know I'll be on pins and needles for the second... Especially if it involves two characters that I really want to pair off. Please?
