In New York Times bestselling author Rachel Gibson's newest novella, Vince Haven and Sadie Hollowell are headed to the altar, and all their friends are headed to Lovett, Texas, to join them for the party of the year.

But Becca Ramsey doesn't have time for all that. Fresh out of beauty school, Becca's all business … and the last thing she needs is bad boy Nate Parrish anywhere in her life.

In the past, Nate was trouble. He's been trying to repair his reputation—heck, he's even got just one girlfriend. The problem is, she isn't Becca. Now Nate's in a whole lot of hot water. He needs to get Becca from "I won't" to "I do" … but how can he do that when she won't even say "I might"?

Before I go onto my review of I Do!, let me first say that I am a big fan of Rachel Gibson. In fact, she was my first favorite author many, many moons ago. I'm sure you can sense the "but" in that sentence and here it is... I'd have to say that I Do! left me with some mixed emotions that I think would be easier for me to explain if I separated my review into two sections: the reunion and Nate/Becca.

The Reunion - I loved the fact that we got to catch up with several couples from previous books. It wouldn't be true a Gibson wedding without appearances from much loved couples. I won't go into detail of which characters are present for Sadie and Vince's vows, but I will say that it was fun seeing them again.

Nate & Becca - This is where my mixed emotions come in. On one hand, I loved that Nathan Parrish got his romance. I loved him as a rowdy teenager in Daisy's Back in Town and now he's got the sexy mechanic look thing going for him. Becca is adorable. She's in need of some serious fun and she's immediately drawn to Nate. I thought they were cute as a couple. They balanced each other well in the brief amount of time we see them together, but oh how I wished they had their own book. I liked their scenes together, but I was sad that they only got a small amount of chapters together. They would have had a fabulous time falling in love in their own book.

Overall, I liked the little novella. I know I don't do star ratings here on my blog, but sometimes I feel it is necessary. For I Do!, my star rating is somewhere between 3.75 and 4 stars. I loved seeing old friends again. I had fun finding out what happened to them. I giggled knowing which couples had more kids and which are waiting. And I did enjoy the budding romance between Nate and Becca. I have been hoping that we would get to visit previous younger characters (like Marie from See Jane Score), I was so glad to see Nathan again. I only wished he and Becca would have gotten either a book or a novella that was devoted to them.

Rachel Gibson lives in Idaho with her husband, three kids, two cats and a dog of mysterious origin. She began her fiction career at age 16, when she ran her car into the side of a hill, retrieved the bumper, and drove to a parking lot, where she strategically scattered the car’s broken glass all about. She told her parents she’d been the victim of a hit and run and they believed her. She’s been making up stories ever since, although she gets paid better for them nowadays.
