The element that I love the most with Melissa Foster is that when I'm opening one of her books, I feel like I'm about walk into a family reunion. And it's not just any family. Whether it's the Braden's, Montgomery's, or the Remington's, you're always welcomed back with open arms each visit. While I was reading Anything for Love, that's what jumped out at me from the very first chapter. When Beau is in his darkest days, the Braden's come together to show him that it is okay for him to open his heart to love. They tell him it's okay to let go of the guilt and let his heart love again. It's not living if he keeps running away from his family and the friends he's known since childhood. And then we have Charlotte who wants to be loved so badly and she's almost given up thinking it's not in her future. When Beau and Charlotte come together, it was emotional and wonderful. I will say this, though. It took me a couple chapters to warm up to Charlotte. She comes off as a little flighty at the beginning and I tend to not like flighty characters. However, once I got to know her and figure out that she's more whimsical than flighty, I started loving her.
Much like all of Melissa's books, I loved Anything for Love. It felt more emotional that some of her previous books and that was one of the elements I enjoyed most with the book. It was funny, emotional, and sexy as hell. Yet another fabulous Foster romance.
