Happily single, Harper Bishop trusts in only one passion—her rescue farm and healing her thoroughbred, Phoenix. Her dream is to lead him to the Triple Crown. But how unreachable is it without experience or help? A handsome new guest at her family’s B&B has what it takes to make it come true. And with his irresistible brogue, warm smile, and soothing touch, he’s a major distraction.

After a bitter betrayal, horse trainer Aidan O’Connor has fled Ireland for a vacation in New York’s Hudson Valley. When he sees the horse with the fighting spirit, he’s inspired with a new goal: to train Phoenix to win. He’s also facing an unexpected new challenge: his feelings for Harper.

How can she dare to open her heart to a man who’ll be there only long enough to break it?

So Harper and Aidan agree: try to keep it professional, and focus only on Phoenix and the finish line. But along the way, they could also learn a few lessons in love, trust, and taking chances. And, as painful as it promises to be, saying goodbye.

After falling head over heels in love with the first books in Jennifer Probst's Stay series, I really thought it would be love at first sight with All Roads Lead to You. Sadly, this wasn't the case. I enjoyed the book. I loved the characters, both human and animals. I loved the setting. There was just something missing from the story that stopped me from completely connecting with it.

The romance between Harper and Aidan was beautifully written. It wasn't just a physical or sexual connection between them. It was emotional and raw. Both knowing that there was something deeper brewing between them. They wanted more, but weren't willing to break the trust between them. I loved how they built a friendship and working relationship before the tension finally snaps.

Something that is different in this book that wasn't in the previous two books was that All Roads Lead to You actually takes place in close to a full year, which is something that I think both helped and hindered the book. There is so much that happens in this book and I appreciate that the author took her time fleshing everything out. Nothing felt rushed. On the flip side, there were points when things lingered on a bit for me. I have a feeling that this might have been the reason why I didn't connect with the book as much as I did the others. I found myself almost speed reading through some parts of the book because I wanted things to move quicker.

Overall, I enjoyed All Roads Lead to You. I wanted to love it as much as I loved the previous books in the series, but it fell a bit short for me. Of course I loved the characters and the crazy animals. There were just some parts that lingered on for me and that took me out of the story at times. With that said, I still really loved this series and would highly recommend it.
