The only thing colder than the ice I skate on is my heart. Especially at Christmas.

We’re having a horrible season and when my team is struggling, I hold myself accountable. All I want to do is work harder on the ice. I definitely don’t need Felicity Roarke, the team’s Community Outreach director, distracting me. But there she is, handing out candy canes and decorating our locker room like a rabid, little Christmas elf. A very attractive, unintentionally sexy elf. I make sure I draw her name in the staff’s Secret Santa exchange, and start brainstorming the worst gift ideas ever. My goal is to throw cold water all over her holiday spirit. But somehow, things between us end up getting hotter. Suddenly I’m unable to focus on anything but proving to Felicity that she wants a Grinch in her life. Or at least in her bed.

If I want a sweet and sexy hockey romance, Victoria Denault is the first author I turn to. I previous read Secret Santa Face-off novella when it was part of the Scoring Over the Holidays anthology and loved it. She added more to the story and released it as a stand-alone novella. Of course, I had to read it again. Gotta say, I adored it just as much the second time around. Secret Santa Face-off is a super quick enemies-to-lovers romance between the team Grinch and the woman who is determined to find out why he hates Christmas ... while decorating the arena in as much holiday spirit as possible. I wish we got to spend more time with Nolan and Felicity, but I still fell in love with them in the short amount of time we do get. It gave me everything I love about Victoria's hockey romances in a fun little novella.

Victoria Denault loves ocean air, seventies music, strong heroines and flawed heroes. She is a former journalist, stand-up comic and corporate marketing minion. Victoria is a Canadian and former Californian who currently lives in a 222 year-old house with her husband, their grumpy Chihuahua Gus and more spiders than she cares to think about.
