The Greek's unexpected parting gift…

Stergios Antoniou hasn't seen his exiled, troublemaking stepsister, Jodie Little, since the night they finally gave in to their forbidden attraction. Learning she's returned to Athens during a business deal too crucial to jeopardize, he holds her prisoner on his private island until it's over.

Jodie wants to rectify the past, but being so close to Stergios's potent sensuality, she's once again a slave to their destructive desire. One last illicit night should have put their affair behind them, but Jodie leaves the island with more than scorching-hot memories…

Confession time... I loved Harlequin romances back in the day. It was those small Harlequin Presents that turned me into a hardcore romance lover. It bridged my way from teen romance to the world of adult romance. It has been a long time since I've cracked open a Harlequin Presents and now that I've read two of Susanna's, I hope to read more this year.

I loved Illicit Night with the Greek. It, to me, was a mixture of what initially drew me to Harlequin and what I love reading now. It had themes that can be common with Harlequins and a relatively new theme we have been coming across lately. I loved the accidental pregnancy (although I do think Jodie kind of jinxed herself) and the fierce sexual tension between the two main characters. I have not read a lot of step-siblings romance, but I have to say this... Angry "taboo" sex is hot. When Stergios and Jodie get within 50 feet of each other, the air is thick with lust and sexual energy. When it ignites, watch out!

Illicit Night with the Greek was a fun and sexy book. I loved the characters. Both Jodie and Stergios broke my heart. They're wounded as individuals. Together, they make each other whole again. I loved the enemies-to-lovers vibe. It was one-sided, but watching Stergios crumble and act on his feelings for Jodie was so much fun. Susanna's writing was fantastic. She is starting to become a new go-to author and I'm excited to visit some of her previous books.

He has a debt to pay...

Cooper Brock knows Serena Dominguez can ruin him with a snap of her delectable fingers, but he won't give in to her demands easily. Instead, he gives Serena his own ultimatum: to confront the smoldering attraction between them.

And she's ready to collect!

Serena has spent her life planning the downfall of this man. But when she yields to his challenge, Serena is stripped bare by Cooper's raw passion. As he holds her in his arms and whispers her name, Serena realizes she may have just fallen in love with her enemy.

Oh, my gosh. Talk about a time warp! When I started to venture into the wild world of contemporary romance, it was the timeless Harlequin Presents that sucked me in. I remember picking up new books in the store and finding the pull-out postcard to send in for a free book. For a couple months, I was even a subscriber. Oh, how I looked forward to that lovely box of books each month. Mind you, I was probably 17 or 18 at the time, but this was my idea of book heaven. I always remember them being quick and steamy books that kept my imagination flowing. It has been a long time since I picked up a Harlequin Presents title and, let me tell you, it was like greeting an old friend that you haven't chatted with in years. After that initial squeal and embrace, you spend the next several hours immersed in discussion. Well, I squealed when Susanna Carr first contacted me... I wanted to hug my Kindle when I opened the book... And I spent several hours (okay, two or so hours) immersed in the sexy enemies-to-lovers romance that she created. It was honestly like picking up an old friend and now I want more.

Enemies-to-lovers is one of my most loved troupes in romance. It is also one that I don't get to read very often. The tension between the hero and the heroine melting into sizzling hot sexual chemistry... The angry glares that turn into glaces of burning desire... That moment when they finally give in.... Holy hottness, I need a fan. Susanna Carr's Tycoon's Delicious Debt had all that and so much more. It wasn't over the top sexy, but the sexual tension between Cooper and Serena was amazing. I would have loved to experience their first meeting, perhaps in a flashback, but you still get the sense of how their meeting went from the way both characters talk about it. I loved that both characters were a wounded in their own right. Their childhood's were polar opposite and I think that helped out a lot when it came time for them to overcome their pasts and learn to let go. Cooper! Oh dear, his possessiveness towards Serena. Cooper knows what he wants and he'll be damned if Serena continues to ignore the desire flowing between them. She feels it too and the moment she stops fighting it... YUM! I did have one moment of confusion with a scene that, in my opinion, didn't quite fit in. I loved the scene itself, but I wish it had more of a lead in and explanation. If you want to know what scene I'm talking about, head over to my review on Goodreads and I'll explain it more with a spoiler tag. I don't want to discuss it more here because that'll give things away. Anyhoo, I had so much fun reading Tycoon's Delicious Debt. Carr's writing was everything I loved in Harlequin. The enemies-to-lovers romance was a blast to read. And now I am itching to go back and start the Chatsfield series at the beginning. I have a feeling that this is going to lead me back into reading more Harlequin Presents in the future.

Seven tasks. Twenty-four hours. And one chance.

The moment her best friend, Ben Meyers, drops his phone into her drink, model Livvie Winston knows The List has begun. Seven tasks, each more difficult than the last. If Ben completes them in twenty-four hours, Livvie must abandon her strict friends-only rule for one night of reckless, wicked sex with the most delicious man she knows…

The first tasks are easy. Order the cheapest thing on the menu. No cell phone for twenty-four hours. No ogling Livvie's model friends. Check, check, check.

But when Ben heads to the tattoo parlor, Livvie realizes that Ben isn't just playing for one night—he's playing for keeps. Livvie won't sacrifice this friendship for anything—even for a night of enjoying this incredibly sexy man in every naughty position imaginable. And she'll do whatever it takes to protect their friendship and her heart, even if it means beating Ben at his own game. Even if it means playing really dirty…

I love these little novellas from Harlequin's Cosmo Red Hot Reads. Not only are they sizzling hot, but you also get a pretty satisfying romance as well. Tamara Morgan's Model Behavior was a fun little romp following Ben Meyers as he attempts to woo his best friend, Olivia. Unfortunately for Ben, he really doesn't stop to consider Livvie's feelings until it is almost too late. Olivia has seen the dark side of modeling and is convinced that she can never let her guard down with men. I thought Model Behavior was delightful. I loved watching Ben  pursue Livvie. Seriously, the man was on a mission. He would do anything to prove his love for Livvie and, while he doesn't really consider her feelings on the matter, he was still deliciously charming in my book. Don't get me wrong. He doesn't do anything harmful or neglectful, he is just very determined. As for Livvie, I liked her. I loved watching her try to seduce Ben to get it over with...only to get rejected every time. The slow building seduction was fantastic and I loved the Livvie's list. Model Behavior was a sexy, hot novella that I loved devouring. Now, I must find more books from Tamara Morgan...

Review of THE V-SPOT by Wendy S. Marcus

How hot is your night going to get? Take the quiz and find out!

1. You're a curvy, cute and practical nurse, ready to unleash your inner naughty nymphette for your 25th birthday. You start with...
a. Chocolate cake.
b. Champagne. Lots of it.
c. A blind date set up by your daring best friend.

2. Your guy turns out to be popular (and insanely hot) wrestler Brody "The Bull" Bullock. You...
a. Run for the door.
b. Admire his hotness, then run for the door.
c. Imagine him naked.

3. You're meeting Brody at The V-Spot, a "Voyeur Motel." What are you wearing?
a. A cute sundress with wedge sandals
b. You're not going anywhere without Spanx
c. Doesn't matter. Brody is sexy enough that it's all coming off!

If you selected all of the above, you're in for the night of your life....

Imagine this... It is your 25th birthday and your best friend sets you up on a blind date. Not just any blind date. Oh no, this blind date is at The V-Spot, aka the Voyeur Motel, a place where you check your inhibitions at the door for one night of steamy, hot sex. Thanks to her hyper-sexed best friend, this is exactly how Emma Masters will be spending her birthday. Having the best sex in her life with a total stranger... Until that total stranger turns out to be Brody "The Bull" Bullock, a sexy wrestler that volunteers at the hospital she works at. No way, she can't spend the night in his arms... Can she?

I am addicted to Harlequin's Cosmo Red-Hot Reads. The V-Spot was fun, sweet, and incredibly sexy. I adored Emma and Brody. Emma was sweet, curious, and a little insecure about her body. Brody, on the other hand, is sex on a stick. It was sad that Emma didn't believe that a guy like Brody would be interested in a girl like her, but we learn very quickly that Brody has his own motive for being Emma's blind date. I loved that Brody spends the novella helping Emma lose her inhibitions and open herself to him, both emotionally and sexually. He wants to teach her things, to bring her out of her shell. And after their amazing night together, he's determined to prove to Emma that he's the man for her. Yum!! I loved this little novella. It had funny moments, sexy moments, and a lot of sweet moments as Brody and Emma got to know each other. The V-Spot has the perfect amount of sizzle to make erotic romance fans happy and a dash of romance to make you swoon.

Buttoned-up financial consultant Grace Song lives life by her own strict rules. Spontaneity leads to chaos. Always play it safe. So when she shares a Manhattan cab with a handsome stranger and they accidentally swap cell phones, her first instinct is to track him down and put things right. Stay on track. Stick with the plan.

But when beyond-gorgeous Zack Camden answers the door draped only in a towel, Grace is suddenly inspired to ditch her rules for a day…and a night. Indulging in one delicious encounter with a perfect stranger is just the break she needs. But one turns into two, then three mind-blowing nights—and soon Grace is in danger of breaking the biggest rule of them all—never fall in love….

What would you do if a sexy stranger just happens to share his cab with you? That same question runs through the mind of our heroine, Grace Song. Straight-laced Grace has spent her entire life living by her rules. The moment she accepts Zack's offer to share his cab, her rules go out the window. When a mix-up leads Grace to Zack's hotel room, all bets are off. Can she resist the attraction that is pulling her towards him? Will she be able to say no to Zack's offer of one night filled with passion? Her mind may be saying no, but her body is ready to break the rules.

I am in love with Harlequin's Cosmo Red-Hot Reads. They are short romances with a fabulous combination of sexy and sweet. I'd have to say that Breaking All Her Rules is my favorite so far. It was adorable! I loved both Grace and Zack. For a novella, both characters were incredibly deep, Ever since Grace was younger, she's forced herself to follow very strict rules because, in her eyes, success equals the being the perfect daughter. Zack, on the other hand, is leery about the success that comes along with his sculptures. It has forced him into a very public career and, since he's been surviving alone for so many years, Zack isn't so sure if he's ready to open his heart. Together, Grace and Zack slowly form a bond that helps the other heal. They both start looking at their lives in a different light and begin to want more. I loved watching their relationship develop from two total strangers sharing a cab to tender lovers on the verge of forever. Not to mention, the banter and one-liners that fly between Zack and Grace were hysterical. I loved how much they fumbled and stumbled after their first night together. They were nervous and excited all at once. It was great. I really loved Breaking All Her Rules. It was a short, but wonderful journey that left me swooning.
