Last Month on the Blog - March 2017

Oh dear. What can I say about last month that doesn't make me want to throw something in frustration? Well, there were three extremely high points that make up for the distracting reading and review slump that took over. Boy, did that ever suck! Not all was bad, though. I enjoyed the books I did read and I got to meet some amazing authors! I'm thinking about doing a separate post about those events, as well as some future events next week. Stay tuned for that. Until then, here is my not-so-fun recap of March...

I may not have read a lot in the month of March, but I loved the 5 books I did read. Some were old favorites and some will no doubt become new favorite authors. I even got to meet a couple of the authors and fangirl'd in person. Here are the books I finished, but have not reviewed.

Forever Mine (Opposites Attract #2) by Erin Nicholas
I am totally adoring this series. Only my 2nd book of Erin's, but she has pretty much cemented herself on my list of contemporary favorites. I will be reviewing this book, as well as the 1st book, in a week or so.

Truly, Madly, Whiskey by Melissa Foster
A heroine named Crystal?! Yes!! My love of all things Melissa Foster forced me to read this one ASAP. I had a funny moment while reading it that I will share in my review next week.

The Fixer (Games People Play #1) by HelenKay Dimon
Holy Mother of Pearl! This book was hot! I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series, which will be happening soon. Very, very soon.

Score by Victoria Denault
I have a good reason for not reviewing this one... It doesn't come out until May. But Victoria was at an event that I went to and I had to at least start it so I could chat about it with her. I think I finished it later that night or very early the next morning. Loved it and I will post my review closer to release.

It appears that the reading slump monster brought his friend - the review slump - and I only reviewed 4 books. Not my best and I hope things will only improve. Fingers crossed!

To be honest, I haven't really paid much attention to the new releases for April other than the ones I'm hoping to review. Because of that, the list is pretty short.

Royally Bad -- Nora Flite
Master Professor -- Tara Sue Me
Saving Mercy -- Abbie Roads
Feels Like the First Time -- Marina Adair
It Happened on Love Street -- Lia Riley
The Enforcer -- HelenKay Dimon
The Hangman -- Mary Burton
Dangerous Behavior -- Nancy Bush

So, that's it. What did you read in March? What are you looking forward to in April? Leave a comment and let's chat!
