Hello friends! Welcome to my first monthly review for 2017. I have to say, after the end of 2016, I was a little bit scared about how 2017 would start. Will I still be in a blogging slump? How will I fare on my challenges and goals for the year? Honestly, I'm pleasantly surprised with how January progressed. I was able to read a whopping 12 books. Say what? And I reviewed 9 of them. Yes! It is too early to tell if the slump is fully gone, but I'm extremely happy with what I've accomplished for January. Here is what I read this month and books I'm looking forward to in February.
First I'm going to start by quickly chatting about the 3 books I read, but did not review. Two of them will be reviewed in February and one was a fun read only.
Everything for Her by Alexa Riley
Gotta give credit where credit is due. This was the book that seriously jump-started the year in the right direction. I've said this before - I love possessive, alpha billionaire heroes. Like potato chips, you can't eat just one. And Miles takes the cake. I'm surprised it didn't send me into a possessive billionaire phase, which tends to happen when I fall in love with one.

I plan on reviewing this anthology as individual novellas later this month and into next month. Keep an eye out for those reviews. It has some of my new favorite erotic authors so of course I loved it.
Accidentally On Purpose by Jill Shalvis
Another book that I'm going to review this month. It should be up this weekend. As much as I friggin' adore this series, I'm sadly way behind in reviewing it. So my reviews for the first 3 books and novella will be a bit out of order.
